The wedding ceremony is one of the few ceremonies that still symbolize eternity today. Paradoxically, however, it contains many disposable elements that lose their meaning the next morning.

This theme inspired me when I started planning my own wedding, and I realized that it is a well-oiled industry whose main purpose is to fulfill a social convention - an exclusive event that is well photographed.

During the process, I often thought about how the bride's clothing is controversial because of the loss of meaning the day after the wedding, but the groom's clothing is not criticized when it loses its meaning during the evening, immediately after the ceremony is over. The button-down shirt, the vest, and the jacket purchased with the couple's best money remain irrelevant for the rest of the event.

I have designed a collection for men, mainly quoted from the world of tailored, which aims to show the paradox behind the disposable idea that is the groom's suit, creating a "facade" to create systems that are in fact a backdrop for the presentation of fraud. The fabrics I created from scratch, using different techniques from the world of knitting and the "punch needle" technique are meant to reinforce the tension between these soft materials and the traditional world of tailoring. These were all meant to create a false representation of the distance, because, in my opinion, at Israeli weddings, the show-off is more important than the reality itself.
