The strongest manifestation of the sensation of ephemerality in modern life is the nomadic phenomenon. The nomad moves from place to place, due to his unwillingness to belong, he moves on. I drew parallel between the sensation of roaming and a garments’ ability to shift from angular and fixed to flattened and reassembled in different ways.

In my project I question the role of a garment in our lives? Can it function as an agile object?

I drew inspiration from the principles of folding cardboard boxes, applying them to classic garments to examine transitions from a silhouette subject to complete flattening while undermining the concept of how a garment looks/functions/connects, symbolizing the ability to quickly pack our items and later reassemble them .

I designed a 'Ready to Wear' womenswear collection, the silhouettes contain and correspond with the body enveloping it at times and in others completely ignoring it.

 I used traditional tailoring fabrics alongside nylons.The former I  hardened and the later melted. The color palette was inspired by packing materials - a range of browns with pops of vivid colors from the worlds of adhesives and soft packaging.
